About Us

The Lake Road journey began with the first vines planted in 1975, and for three generations the Blampied family have been building on their expert knowledge of winegrowing.

As well as producing wines from our own vineyards, Lake Road works with a small number of artisan growers and producers throughout New Zealand. Our brief is a simple one - create iconic wines, that capture the abundant sunshine and the taste of the land we call home.
