MARLBOROUGH: Today Marlborough is one of the world’s foremost winegrowing regions.
Its warm days & cool clear nights create a slow ripening period bringing out the best in the vines. It is these conditions that make Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc so special.
HAWKES BAY: Long sunshine hours and dry climate make it a great region for red wines such as Merlot. Hawkes Bay is the second largest wine region in NZ and is one the most versatile, with such a range of soil types and great weather conditions.
GISBORNE: At the most easterly tip of NZ you’ll find the “Chardonnay capital”.
Gisborne is the 3rd largest wine growing area in New Zealand and is renowned all over the world for its wine, due to its distinctive, intense fruit flavours and easy drinking style. This unique region provides great growing conditions with long sunshine hours, fertile soils and endless access to water, ideally suited to our chardonnay, sparkling and aromatic wines such as Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer.
WAIPARA: Sheltered from the coast by a low range of hills, Waipara has become an excellent region for Pinot Noir. Its chalky loams are often rich in limestone and impart great characters in the wines from this area.
